hey all, i had a quick question for anyone that might be able to provide me with an answer haha. i am a new owner of the XO2 exhaust for my 03 Z but i cant install it yet since it is snowing here... boo! anyway, i was just wondering if anyone can tell me what the canister tubes are on top of the actual mufflers?? im very puzzled as to what they are and what purpose they serve... if anyone can help me that would be great! thanks!

They're supposed to help with midrange torque... But is probably more for looks.

I know, they are crazy lookin'. It also helps with the sound the exhaust makes.
