Default Magnaflow SS Exhaust

After reading many reviews (positive + negative) I decided to bite the bullet and try the Magnaflow SS. Got it new for a great price from a member here. The quality if this system is very high. This is NOT cheaply made as some of the no-names are considered to be. Just had it installed today. System weighs less than the Nissan. Has a "nice - deeper" tone and a "growl" at WOT.

Even after paying 100.00 to have it installed, it is still less than 1/2 the cost of the NISMO. I'll be waiting to see how it is after it breaks in (hopefully the new exhaust smell won't last too long.

Holy crap, I have to hear this. I've been considering this exhaust for quite some time and you are just down the highway from me.

It'll never sound like a Nismo though.

But everybody has their own sound preferences.

Hope he didn't me me. I think the NISMO sounds good, but I wouldn't spend +1K (plus install) for any exhaust unless it was made of solid gold. I'll take the Mag SS @ 530 installed. but that's just me...

I met up with him today to check out the exhaust. He's a nice guy with a very nice Z. Exhaust sounds great. He had it with stock cats and Y and its really not all much louder than stock, but it sounds very nice.

CMT G35,

Where did you get your exhaust installed at for $530 out the door?

Wish I could say I went with the MagnaFlow, but I was tempted on the Turbo XS deal.

So what all do you get with Magnaflow as it seems you got it for 430 bones. Also was this a dealer or just someone selling their Magnaflow? Does it feel like you gained anything. I realize that is aful subjective to opinion.

He told me he got it from a guy on the boards. However, cvrmotorsports.com has it for 472 shipped I believe. It's just a mid pipe and axle back.
