Question TommyKaira Intake Plenum

Anyone here into TommyKaira?

If you check there site, under new products, they've got an intake plenum that resembles the intake funnels of a motorcycle...

Can anyone read Japanese? Also, does anyone know where I can find that bodykit?

that intake isnt turbo friendly but if your going all motor its probably amazing, individual throttle bodies kick ***.

Tommy Kaira is pretty sweet, but I don't know if they sell there parts seperately though, from what I know, they build the cars and sell them as it is....for example, they builded the old Subaru Legacy Tommy Kaira style and there is only 22 of those available.

But if those Open Throttle body kits are available, I will get them for sure....

What is the philosophy behind that design? That would suck in hot air from inside the hood? Even if it is more air, isn't more cold air better? Does this do anything to emmisions. Where would the MAF sensor go? WTF?

I beleive it is for equal air into every cylinder and would likely be used in conjunction with a ram air hood. Don't know if it supports a MAF or if it's even for street use but it would nee to be incorporated into the manifold assembly. It's largest benefit asside from equal air distribution would be responce. Most racecars use a similar type of manifold, in fact both the Nismo built ZR motor and the HKS racing motor use that style of intake.
