Does the Titek intake change the sound at all?
I know in some of my previous cars a functional intake drastically changed the "sucking" noise of the intake.
1) Does the Titek actually line up with the intake spot behind the front bumper/hood on a 2006 Z?
2) Does it change the sound?
That is all. I have searched but couldn't find anything specifically addressing the "sound."

It also seems like using the CWest intake behind the Titek would actually connect the bumper opening to the stock intake duct.
Thoughts?

They line up decently, but there is no sound increase by any means. The the C-West intake would not be worth it, plus it is designed for use with that bumper. If you want something similar there is the K&N intake, which has a piece similar to that. All in all intake ducts are just for looks, nothing more.
actually kind of had the same question, but not for the sucking sound, just performance. it seems like it'd be straight allowing the air nice and cold and quick, so would you be able to feel any difference in power? People say its just for looks, just never understood, seems very functional
