Default stock exhaust bolts and gaskets question

So i'm going to put my stock exhaust back on but i don't have any of the old bolts or gaskets. I called my dealership and they said it would be 90 dollars for all the bolts and gaskets i need...

Do bolts and gaskets really cost this much? I thought it'd be like..30 bucks max.... How much should i pay and what's realistic?

thanks

all you need are the nuts and gaskets right? I bought the rear muffler gasket and 2 nuts for like 11 bucks at the dealer. I think it should be way cheaper than that bro

Why it's wise to keep/save all oem parts you take off

Gaskets should be around 16 bucks each. If you have a catback that should only be 1 gasket. I dunno about the bolts tho, but I know they're not $74!

Hardware is expensive. For a first class job there are no shortcuts.

sounds about right for dealership costs. Gaskets are about $50 for the whole kit. And you figure $1-$1.50 a bolt anywhere you go.

I'm taking the test pipes off my car and I can't find the original OEM nuts to go on the OEM studs. The 'standard' metric nuts I have are a different thread density and thus won't go on the studs. Does anyone know what the thread density is for the OEM studs on the catalytic converters and y-pipe?

To the OP: The dealer's gaskets are like those Monster HDMI cables at Bestbuy... You can get them cheaper else where.

i have brand new unopened ones for sale.. i forgot what I paid, but I'll sell em for $25 It's from the dealer and I think it's stainless steel, which is much better than the cheapos you get from the pep boys. If you want em, I'll see if i can find them, lol.
