Looks like this got resolved, but I figured I'd post my $0.02. I have an 04' Touring and had absolutely no fitment issues with the Berk Metallic HFC's (the ones with the mounting bracket), they still work just fine with my Borla system.

are you sure that your flange, the on that is connecting to yous Borla system on the driver side is not touching the car... it's look pretty close from here...

and do you love your Berk HFC's ? did it change something on the sound ?

do you have a cel light ?

Ya know i just put my Berk ceramics on the other day and did have the drivers side cat come very close to the heat shields, both in the flange area and upper heat shield, where the actual cat is. I havent heard any noticeable metal/metal contact, but man the Nismo is amplified 10x over stock with these. Very aggresive sound, but it almost sounds like im getting some vibrations somewhere... ill have to check next time i have it on the lift.

Well, I finally got around to installing my HFC's along with doing my Vortech build. I bolted them up to the exhaust manifolds and they are way off on the connection to the y-pipe I went to bolt up the support bracket and the passenger side was a good 1 inch too far in. Then looking from the rear I could see that it was way too far in....(hard to tell from pic)

Then I held up my Stillen solid y-pipe and obviously the passenger side was way off, but the flange on the driver's side wasn't flat with the y-pipe flange - there was a good 4mm or so gap on the right side of the flange (can see in pic)

I sent Brian a PM so we'll see what happens

^are yours pre-bracket?..

I just had mine crack this weekend, after close inspection I noticed that the cat in question, had a shorter *neck*, going to the oem header/manifolds.

I was also unable to weld on the brackets, which I purchased from BERK, because the holes on the bracket would not line up properly with the holes on the oem support brace, most likely do to the size difference.

Anyhow, I also sent berk/brian a pm.. I hope he comes back to me with good news.

Nope, mine came with the brackets (can see in pic). They just don't line up at all with the stock support bracket.

I gave them a call yesterday and spoke with a very nice lady on the phone who took my number - so hopefully Brian will get back to me. I have a feeling this is going to hold up my Vortech build.

Btw - I can't get the damn o2 sensors out of the stock cats. I might even have to order some new ones, haha.

I would like to thank bryan@BERK. You are a stand up guy, no doubt about it.
Your business etiquette goes above and beyond expectations.
You have a customer for life. I will never hesitate in purchasing one of your products as you stand behind it 100%.

For those without the brackets, I msgd berk and purchased the brackets for a small fee. I would highly recommend it.

Bryan got back to me yesterday and said he would gladly check them out for me on the jig and see what's up. I'll be shipping them back to him today.

Well, crap. Now that my cats have been shipped back to Berk, Bryan is now out of town for a good week, week and a half. I don't expect to get them back anytime soon, and they simply cannot ship me a new set - they need to have the o2 bung welded up. I'm waiting on these so that I can get my car up and running since my Vortech install is nearly complete.

SIGH...the HFC's have been at Berk for over two weeks now and they still haven't shipped them back to me. I found out today they had to completely scrap them and build me new ones, and might not even get around to it until tomorrow. Two weekends have now been completely wasted because I can't startup and tune my Vortech without these.

So, if they don't fit when you get them, don't expect to get them back anytime soon. I did voice my opinion to them, and sent them what I think was a constructive email - so hopefully they will resolve the delays in their after-sales support soon.

I'm sure it will work out. If Brian leaves you hanging you'd honestly be the FIRST person i've seen unsatisfied with his service.

Well, after sending them that email, they called me two hours later to tell me they were able to get mine done and ship them out I could have demanded next day or 2 day shipping so I would have them here for this weekend - but I cooled down by the time they called me back, hehe. At least they took care of me in the end.
