Default Fast Intentions Exhaust= The Real Deal

Back in Dec of 2007 i had my car dyno 243 hp and 227 tq with the mods in my sig. What a bummer!!! Now fast forward to 2/19/2008 and she dynos 266 hp and 252 tq ! Wow not bad , and the only thing i did was take off my greddy evott and put on the fast intentions full catback and I really have to say this is the best exhaust i have ever owned ! I had hks, evo and the evo tt and hands down the best performing exhaust ! I know people are going to start flaming , but it is what it is!! 23hp and 25 tq difference yeah baby!!! posting dyno pic soon !!

Well not surprising. The greddy evo TT's larger diamater piping is made for cars with FI.

But the Fast intentions intimidator exhaust looks really well designed.

yeah i dont care for the sound of hks it looks awesome but sound is blah. I cant believe the power you gained might have to go this route now.

I really like the look of the hks but the sound is just mmmm ok. I put on high flow cats and here came the rasp= ricey! I bought the evo and that was the biggest mistake and finally the evo tt . That is a really nice looking exhaust but still hade the awful rasp and a annoying drone! So I dipped in my pockets again and bought the fi exhaust and guess what, no more rasp ,drone and I could tell I regained hp and tq.. This exhaust looks pretty sick too!All in all really happy and should go really well with my vortech setup thats coming down the road.

similar situation with me, I installed the FI exhaust with test pipes and got 26 hp and 25 ftlbs of torque on the same dyno. I will try to find my old dyno sheet and put it up if I can. +1 on this being the hands down best exhaust ever owned.

Could it be because of the X-pipe canister they use? I modified my XO2's H-pipe with an X-pipe Magnaflow canister, and there was an improvement due to scavenge effect created by the X-pipe.
If you compare the FI intimidator's muffler canister, to the X-pipe Magnaflow, it looks identical.

you probably lost a good amount of power with the evo TT and when you swapped to the Intimidator it was like gaining double. Looking at those numbers it is pretty much double what a proper exhaust nets you.
