definitely check out the Fast Intentions RTP's, I've got them on my car with the HKS exhaust. Just call directly to order them, they had them shipped out like an hour after I called in my order.

not a significant loss, maybe a little slower at the low end of the rpms.

Keep it simple. Empty test pipes. Nothing inside to fall apart. Nothing inside to rattle.

These helix I got from a vendor for 125 shipped and I am putting them in today. I have heard nothing but good reviews from people. I will let you know by tom most likely.

Helix will sound like any other non-resonated test pipe. With your HKS, it will be loud, deep in tone, and farty and raspy when you get on it, but I love mine I have an HKS with Helix tp's. Resontated will sound almost the same, without as much rasp.

Go for Berk Test Pipes. Inexpensive, yet better quality, reliability, and customer service than the rest. Please don't pay $250+ for hollow tubes. These aren't HFCs.

DO NOT GET TEST PIPES. it will ruin your exhaust literally and your hks will be a waste. i say get hi flow cats. ive got the hks with res test pipes and it sounds AWESOME but there is rasp at the top. i havent heard it with hfcats but ive been thinking about switching to see if it keeps it just as loud but gets rid of the rasp. i got mine for 150 shipped from intensemotorsports.com but look for a used set, because theres no reason to buy new unless you want to lose when you part
