Exclamation AEM Cold Air Install Help...

I've searched but haven't come up with anything all that helpful.. I've got an AEM Cold Air intake i'd like to install, but would feel 1000 times more comfortable if i had a guide, something from someone here who's done it prior to walk me through it. Again, i searched, but nothing concrete. Any help is appreciated... Thanks.

don't even bother putting it in, unless you want to hydro lock. AEM cai is more trouble than it's worth (even with the by pass). I put one in and had so many issues that i took out. get your money back and get a popcharger or a short ram (trust me)

Seems like a couple of people have had it, and taken it off...care to share why? if it's going to cause me nothing but trouble i'll sell it and get a pop-charger

The problem with the AEM cai is if the cone (air filter) gets wet the car will not run. My AEM cai cone would get drenched just from being in the rain (car not moving). Water would somehow find it's way to the cone. When the cone gets wet it can not suck air (big problem). You are asking for trouble if you put it in. When it is dry, it is a great system, but you will loose your mind when your car won't run even in a light rain.
