Default quick newb exhaust question....

so i have a megan y-pipe, stock midpipe and a nismo muffler from the cat back exhaust.....will this all bolt up straight to each other? thanks!! flame suit on!!! lol

also, what is the diameter of the stock midpipe? cause i know the megan y-pipe goes from 2.5" inlet, to 3"outlet....so that means the stock midpipe would be 3" then? i don't know if that's right or not though.....

I believe its only 2.5" so you should probably look for a midpipe...

ok, that's what i thought....i'm gonna guess it's just cheaper to have a muffler shop make one, unless someone is selling an aftermarket midpipe that will fit!! lol

sometimes it doesnt sound too great without a resonator sometimes it does. Kinda a chance you take. I dont even know where to buy a resonated 3"midpipe.

What did you end up doing about the midpipe?

I may have an aftermarket Y and a nismo muffler coming into my possession soon and had the same questions as you.

I'm assuming a fab shop would be cheapest to make a 3" midpipe. Japtrix makes one, but it's like $310.
