Default My HKS Exhaust Is damaged, is it serious?

My exhaust pipes were lowered a few CMs to align with the HFC I installed, everything was sweet at my old place but now the bottom pipes are scraping the drive way when I drive in and out. Awful sound I had a check underneath, I have Dual HKS Hi Power Ti and the part that get the most damage is showing on the picture below (just an example pic I took off the website), they are made of metal with kind of woven pattern wrap, the woven construction start to come apart, does anyone know if this is serious? I'm definitely going to raise my car or take off the HFCs but I want to make sure if the pipes are going to be ok otherwise I have to change the exhaust too.

You are taking about deteriorating flex joints? Can’t be a good sign.

no it's not serious. Those are just the flex pipes. Even if those outer woven portion is not there, there is metal still under there. I wish i had a pic of my old nismo y pipe. don't worry.

You should be okay, but I'd definitely stop it as soon as you can.

I have Berk HFC's and they are pretty much exactly the same size as the stock cats. The only difference is that the support bracket mounting location is just a bit off. Other than that, they seem to be the same exact length as stock.

i wouldn't even worry a bit. If the flex pipe breaks, you an replace them. Sucks though. I've seen the flex joint go for ~$50 each
