Nismo CAI Installed and Carbon Fiber Shift ****
Ok, I know it's basically the same as the AEM intake but I figured I'd write a review anyway.
I do notice it pulling a bit more, but what I notice more is how crisp acceleration feels now. I wasn't really expecting a difference at all but when I took it for a spin I felt a slight difference. Maybe the 5.5HP they claim is there.
What's really cool is listening to it with the windows rolled down, I loved the noise as air is sucked into the filter. I'd buy it for the noise if nothing else, maybe next I'll buy one of those turbo reproducers that makes your car sound like a turbo.
Now, onto the shifter. Wow, I really like it alot. It's much lighter than stock and smaller as well. Making it easy to grip it and rip through the gears.
All in all I'm satisfied and it looks cool.
Now, onto the pictures.

Black one is good for that, white and gray are 15HP.

Yeah, I have that same shifter. Really is a fascinating piece of work. Shifting with it is much more fluid and slick and doesn't feel clunky compared to the stock shifter.

Are you guys being sarcastic? How much difference can a shifter **** make? What do they charge for that? It looks cool anyway. Does it get hot and burn your hand like the stock ****?

so it is slightly mor expensive than the AEM or Injen... I think its worth it to go Nismo over the other too, especially for warranty concerns, it might help...
Where did you get it from?
Thank you.

Ok, may be a stupid question BUT... Nismo section of courtesy Nissan parts page for CAI states:
350Z Genuine NISMO (Nissan Motorsports International) part.
These R-tune parts are not warranted by Nissan.
What exactly does this mean? Use affects your standard warranty or simply Nissan doesn't warranty this part?

Actually they have to be able to prove that the aftermarket part in question caused the problem to void a warranty based on aftermarket parts.
Example:
Your engine isn't idling correctly, so you go into your service department to have it checked, they see a CAI, they CANNOT say they will not repair the car under warranty, unless they can prove that the CAI caused the problem. This is the law, to prevent manufacturers from shoving off legitimate problems with their cars onto an aftermarket part that had nothing to do with the problem. Also to keep the aftermarket striving, and therefore helping the economy, etc.
