Lightbulb Opinions Needed

If you had to choose between these exhausts; Nismo, Topspeed, XO2, and Invidia N1, which would it be and why.

I don't want to get flamed for this just want some help in narrowing down the choices. I like the way they all sound just want to get some information from guys/gals that actually own them.

Nismo. I have an x02 and to me, i should've went nismo. The x02 exhaust for me is ok. When I had the flu, the deepness of the exhaust was driving me insane. Also, the right tip is higher than the left and the right tip hole didn't match up with the canister part so i had to drill out the canister a little. The x02 tips suck. I reburnt them and within 3 weeks, the light rust started to come back.

Go with the nismo because it has a little more aggressive tone than the stock exhaust. Plus when it comes time to sell, it'll be easy to sell it.

Whitecel I have not heard either in person because there are none around here. Is the nismo or XO2 louder? So far it seems like everyone is saying nismo that I have asked.

Invidia N1 is loud, but i always have my music loud so i dont mind it. Everyones gunna say it based on preference. If you plan on getting test pipes DO NOT go with Invidia!! I had test pipes last summer and they were wayyyyyy too loud!

I will eventually want test pipes just for performance reasons. But I don't want rasp. I love how our engines are so unique. Not quite a muscle car but not rice.

I've heard the nismo in person and I like it. X02 has a deep tone to it. Since I've been through the whole ricer stage with my turbo civic, it almost annoys me as much as when I see stock d16 civics with the apexi n1 turbo exhaust on their car. It's a little too loud for my taste. After installing the x02, my butt dyno tells me I lost some low end, but gained some mid. To me, the X02 is too much trouble to deal with if you don't have a welder and a torch.

Go with the nismo! Don't make the same mistake I did

I wouldn't get the Nismo for performance reasons, there are better exhausts out there if you are aiming at performance. But the sound alone is amazing.

So are saying the Nismo will not give as good of gains as the XO2, topspeed, or invidia?

It sounds like the XO2 is cheap but one to stay away from.

I always held the belief that gains from just an exhaust are minimal so go for what you think sounds the best. I think the x02 has a nice tone, but it's too loud/deep for me. I like the nismo!

whitecel would you be able to take a video clip of yours? I have heard some on youtube but it would be great to hear one from a member on here. I just heard a nismo clip and thought it sounded fantastic but I do like the deep/loud sound of the N1 and XO2.

from what I read in here, those exhaust system will not give you any noticable gain in hp.
Unless you have FI but its a different story later on for you!

Now that is being said, the only exhaust that sounds nice(from the sound clips I listened to) is Nismo one, IMO.

The rest of them, to each his own!

Good luck, Kenpo!!!

I have a nismo and i love it. I used to have an Injen SES and the drone would drive me insane. With the nismo there is no drone, and the aggresive sound is there when you punch it.

Okay well as of now I dont' have plans for F/I. That would screw up my extended warranty so I have 5 years or 100,000 miles of no F/I. But plans change.
