Turbo XS exhaust is good (499 shipped from MRC) or I have heard the bassani is good as well.

yeah there's a good video of the bassani for an 07 on youtube. very deep and loud enough, plus it keeps the characteristic Z note.

Try Fast Intentions they have many satisified customers. Very good exhaust and great customer support.

fast intentions is nice but its too quiet you need test pipes or HFC to go along with it to make it really sound nice.

im not a huge fan of the way the bassani sounds but it looks like a nice piece and for the gains you get with that exhaust you cant really go wrong!

By the way, there's a Borla exhaust for the 07? I didn't even know. I think Borla is one of the nicest sounding exhausts there is, I just don't like the look much. But sound-wise I think it's one of my favorites

The Borla and Bassani exhausts are listed as being for 06's etc. but I do believe they fit the 07's just fine.

I plan on going with the Bassani in the near future.

I'm sorry jeff, you must have a really dull sense of humor, because that flash video isn't even remotely funny.

If you guys are going to get pissy everytime someone posts a question you feel you shouldn't answer, at least post something funny. Most of the pictures, links, etc. I see are pretty lame.

In addition, if you aren't going to answer his question, simply don't post in this thread. Nobody cares if it's been answered before. Perhaps he wants to have a discussion about the exhausts, and not just read banter from previous posts.

Wake up, ffs.

FI's Intinidator is 2.5" their newer Dominator is 3"...both by Fast Intentions I believe the Dominator is intended for forced induction cars.

Tanabe Super hyper Spec medallion.. IMO one of the best sounding Exhausts on the market for a Z.. IMO it also makes more power than some of the fancy names out there.. I have my dyno numbers posted in the new owners section and i'm still using the stock y pipe and cats.. Has really nice deep tone to it and very little to no rasp as of yet and is stock sounding under 3000RPM once you go above 3200 it screams...

I've always been partial to the sounds that come from the Bassani or the Borla over many of the other exhausts. Also, I prefer an exhaust that doesn't have a tail pipe that is excessively large and produces a sound that rivals a weed whacker.

This is the reason i purchased the Tanabe. At first the Exhaust tips were a little large for my liking but after hearing it break in i wouldnt change for anything.. The only exhaust i would consider is the Greddy evo with the burnt titanium tips and that would be on a FI setup of course.. As a full exhaust the Tanabe is costly but after having it for a few weeks i'm extremely pleased with it..

I honestly was a click away from getting one myself but it was a little too loud for me but for the price that MRC is offering it i might have reconsidered. So in short if money was a factor then i'd buy one and i would use HFC's instead of test pipes..
