Default More exhaust questions...

Ok...so I'm doing a custom exhaust setup in which I will be replacing everything and I have a question. I am going with an rs-r exmag gtII exhaust, and I will be getting kinetix test pipes....so now my only remaining purchase will be a y pipe. My question is....are all y pipes the same? Will they all fit my setup or do I need a certain one? Any way to tell? Any recommendations? Thanx guys.

If you're doing custom, why don't you run an X pipe with a true dual setup?

Are you having the work done at a shop? If so, where at in PA?

Honestly, because I really really like the rs-r sound. I've thought about true dual, but I figured the point of an aftermarket exhaust is mostly the sound, because the gain differential between this and a true exhaust is negligible. So thats why I chose this route....just looking at doing it right, the best possible way the first time. As far as who I'm having do it.....not sure yet. You have any recommendations?

Hmm.. I suppose I understand where you're coming from.

As far as recommendations... I've got nothing close to you. I'm from Reading so your a bit out of the way if you're looking for a shop. Surely not worth the drive for the $ you'll save

The RSR exhausts tend to be quite a bit louder on most of their applications.

My Celica (2000 GT-S 6mt) was probably the loudest out of all the Celicas at one of the local meets last Summer. Probably 40-50 Celicas and I got the most compliments. It had a very clean and solid tone... 100% no rasp. I loved it... but nothing beats the purr of the 3.5l (with my Bassani dual, of course)

My friend also had an RSR on his (GSR) Integra before he turbo'd it. Quite a great sound too. Pretty much the same tone as my Celica was.
