Default HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!! ASAP crawford v4 plenum... W/PICS

I used this DIY to install my crawford v4 plenum

http://www.crawfordzcar.com/support/...stallation.pdf

Everything went fine and now i'm stuck... There are 2 empty holes in my new crawford plenum and the 80mm bolt is too long to sit in the top one... The bottom 70mm sits perfect.

Problem is that I have work in 3 hours and the 70 mm and 80mm bolts took a day to receive because I can't find them in town that are grade 8.

Are those two empty holes fine? How am I supposed to fix the 80mm bolt problem that is too long?

The smaller 4 bolts have taken the spot where the 2 empty holes go so I cant screw anything in there...

Help me please!

empty holes are bad. they cause vacuum leaks. For the 80mm bolt, go to home depot and get a shorter one or just cut the one you have to size. Try to find stainless bolts.

Duct Tape!

Seriously. It will get you there.

Laminate 3 or 4 layers together, cut it into a piece the size of a stamp and press it over the hole.

It will hold long enough to get you back home.

I figured out thanks to some help on g35driver.. If I would have read these replies first I probably would have used the duct tape.

Basically what I ended up doing was taking out the top 2 small bolts in the lower plenum and re used the stock bolts to cover up the 2 extra holes.. the 80mm bolt was useless.

Thanks for the help guys!
