Questions on whats best for mods
Hey..
I just decided recently to go TT... probably do it over the winter... i heard Jim Wolfe is coming out with a nasty one.. putting out over 500 hp..
So far ive done.. crawford plenum... crank pulley... cat back... h/f cats..
i did have stillen stainless steel headers.. but now im selling them.. i didnt ever use them yet.. still packaged.. so if anyone wants to buy them.. let me know...
i do also have a injen rd 1986 the new model... that will be junk when i go tt as well.. so that will be sold eventually...
next step is clutch n flywheel with nismo cams most likely...
whats up with tilton flywheels... the one i saw was only 8 lbs?
while jwt is like 14 and unorthodox is 13...
whats the difference also between nismo cams and jwt cams? i need some differences hopefully...
and my last question is.. whats the differnence between doing TS Reflash or doing a UNICHIP piggyback mod...
whats the pros n cons to those.. is one better to do then the other?
P.S. like i said.. if anyone wants these bran new stillen headers.. pm me and they are yours.. im asking 650 SHIPPED... OBO...
i know ive seen them for 675 and up... without shipping..
thank you for your replies... cant wait to hear this!!

To keep it simple...
1. Get rid of the catback, and get a true dual.
2. I'd suggest you wait and get the clutch and flywheel at the same time you go TT. There's no need to get a new clutch now and wear it out by the time you go TT.
3. Tilton flywheels are insanely light. They rev very fast, and some people find it a PITA to drive them in traffic, while others don't mind them at all.
4. I have the JWT, and it feels great. I wouldn't go any lighter than it is.
5. Not sure on the difference between those two cams.
6. Doing the TS Reflash takes care pretty much of all your tuning. The only downside to it is that sometimes the tune is not perfect, and so you have to send it back and forth a couple times. Also, the other downside to the reflash is that anytime you want to change a setting, such as adjust a/f and other things, you have to send your ecu to TS. The unichip is the system that comes with the APS TT. The only downside to that is that there are not many Unichip tuners in the U.S., and the only people that can tune the unichip are authorized unichip tuners. There are other piggybacks such as the blue e-manage and the e-manage ultimate. There's the UTEC coming out, and then there are a few standalones like the HKS F-con and the DTA. Standalones are the best, but they cost a lot as well.
