I would be willing to bet that there is power loss. One last thing to upgrade then
i would be willing to bet your statement is totally ambiguous. where would there be power losses? are you saying that this setup would drop your torque readings 100% through the power band? i highly doubt it.
now, will there be losses from 1800 - 2500 rpm? probably. but above ~2500 rpm will show gains. if you're keeping your car on the road when you only drive the speed limit everywhere, it's definitely something to not worry about.
as for me, when my car is tuned and i'm racing - these intakes will definitely help the car.
also, that dyno chart doesn't look biased at all. it's not a "stock 350z producing 290whp with a 8hp increase type of B.S.".
KManZ is probably right. The other open concept intakes have shown no power increase and some have shown a power loss, because of heat soaking from the engine.
I may be wrong, but from what I've read on this forum about the other intakes for the 07's they don't really do anything at all.

well not very many people have bought them and dynoed their cars. i've searched before, and i just tried again. there was a guy who bought the injen (i think) setup, but he used a dyno that corrected for engine horsepower.
but you know, pretty much it goes down to who you like, when it comes to cars. k&n has always been a competitor and has a history of quality products.
maybe I should sell my popchargers and try these... so far looks like AEM is makin about 1whp more than popchargers.... I might have to give these a try...
just like every other intake design that has hit the shelves for the 350z, it will lose power or be LESS efficient than the stock air boxes. That's not going to change because the stock air boxes are still up to par.
