i use to own a srt4. a muffler is a must on all cars, the srt4 got away with it because a turbo is considered a muffler. turbo acutally lowers the sound of the exhaust. and the srt4 has two resonators.
just a little fyi

it is individuals like this that give the 350Z a bad name and be lumped into the ricer category. way to go.

Ha ha ha im sure they give out exhaust tickets all the time. Every state has exhaust noise laws, but do they usually enforce, no. Quit being a *****.

i think it sounds great.
not diggin the looks though, i really like the looks/function of the stock muffler.
anyone try "gutting" the stock muffler? dinan does that with some stuff and usually turns out not so bad.

1500+ for TI exhaust to shave a few pounds or muffler delete to shed more for less? How is this rice? I was thinking of doing the same thing but with 3" straight pipes and open dumps I'm sure it'd be toooo loud.

i am glad to see someone else had this idea, i posted a similiar thread
a while back and got bashed and flamed etc..
my idea was a little different, i was going to remove rear exhaust section
and just run a single pipe from the mid-pipe to the left exit on the bumper
for track days to save weight and increase sound which would be a more
simple approach to what the op has done
i already have a full system from headers back and is not loud enough
for track use but sounds nice on the street with no drone
