Default MREV2 or HKS

Ok so I'm trying to decide on my next mod, and its either the MREV2 lower collector or the HKS exhaust that i've heard so many wonderful things about... Im curious as to which i should buy first (i cant buy both at the same time due to funding).

Current mods =
5/16" plenum spacer w/ thermal gasket
jwt popcharger

would i probably get more gains with adding the HKS to this or the MREV2?

I'd say the MREV2, it'll give you more gains and when paired up with your 5/16 does wonders!

On a non revup engine that already has a spacer, the MREV2 will do another 4-6 HP. See the attached plot. In the plot it was named manifold machining process MMP before it was officially renamed MREV2.

The HKS exhaust will do about 12 HP on either the revup or non-revup.

The MREV2 on a REVUP engine will do a minimum of 15HP / 18TQ and often does around 20HP / 30TQ. http://www.motordyneengineering.com/...page_large.jpg

So depending on the engine you have, there are a range of possibilities.

MREV2 for sure if you are looking for performance gains.

I only gained 5 HP on the HKS, dyno proven.

you'll definatly get better gains from the mrev2 but me personally i would prob go with the hks first just cause exhaust is good on so many levels. sound, looks, and some ok gains.

The lower number is the stock dyno run. The top line is the MREV and the HKS exhaust together.

Is this a good comparison? $300-$400 for mrev 2 or $1500-$1600 for Hks exhaust. For the money go for mrev2 unless money is no object than go hks exhaust.

Haha $1,600 for an HKS? I bought mine 2 yrs ago for $1,300. Not sure where you are seeing $1,500 or $1,600 but if someone bought one for that much they are getting the special bend over with no lube.

Ok i was doing a generalization. Do a google market search you can find them between 1300-2000 dollars. i was just pointing out the hugh price difference in the items even at $1300.
