ive searched the site, ive searched google to no end.


what the hell is an evac shield? apparently i need to modify it or remove it to get the hks i was going to buy installed

I don't know. Some sort of heat shield near the OEM muffler?

I just installed my hks exhaust and I didnt have the shield to use. The guy I bought the exhaust from said that he never even used it. Not sure about this also. I figure Ill fab something up if need be.

Sounds like you're talking about the evap canister under the rear bumper on the passenger side. There is a sheild on it that needs to be removed for some exhaust systems muffler/tips to fit properly.

It's a no-brainer. Don't worry about it - will be obvious when you try to install.
