Default Dyno'd the Z today Vids and dyno sheet and ecu reset numbers

Well I was driving by a local mustang shop today and had some time to kill so i went and got a dyno. it was 99 degrees and humid today and I just drove 1.5 hours so it had about 10 min of cool down time, lastly my clutch has been slipping lately so I know that isnt on my side at all. So enough with the excuses and here is the info.

03 350z 6spd touring.
TurboXS catback
5/16th isothermal MD spacer
JWT popcharger

Here is me all strapped on

here are the results
now run 1 was done normally and runs 2 and 3 where done with the technosquare RESET....not flash using the pedal method. nice to see an actual number to what my butt dyno has been telling me.

The technician said that if it wasnt 100 degree and muggy and that i didnt drive for an hour straight plus the darn clutch slipping I could have easily seen 8-10 more hp.

All in all I am pleased.
I will be back in 1-2 months with a supercharger/clutch/and 3.91 rear end

I am uploading vids as we speak and will update within the hour.

5th gear pull. car shot out a piece of catalyst at me

I thought is was wild that resetting the ecu would yield actual numbers like that.

I was expecting more from the technosquare reflash. It looks like you gained only 5-6whp.

Numbers are good nonetheless.

Resetting the ECU won't do a thing in terms of actual long term power change.

How can you reflash the ECU using the pedal method?

I'm assuming you meant resetting the ECU, which is two completely different things than reflashing the ECU.

I think he means the ECU reset directions that Technosquare has on their website. I don't believe he has a TS installed, seeing as how he didn't list it.

yeah I ment reset...I just typed reflash by addident, vid is up and one more video is uploading which is the 5th gear pull

btw my car was running lean as crap, I would like to see what a retune would do for it.

Also I cant decide between turbonetics single or a vortech S/C

Yeah I knew something didn't sound right. I knew technosquare reflashes provide much better gains than that. They usually have promising improvements. I am considering getting mine reflashed as soon as I get my exhaust and HFCs installed.

At least someone else understands. I've stopped trying to explain this to people. Apparently popular misconception is more powerful than the truth.

More power to the "ECU reset"

I am actually on eibach sportlines low but not low enough!! I only need 1/4 lower in the front to be happy...but will be getting KW Varients 3's once I finish some sort of FI application. I drive up there alot for work so you may see me again, but once my Jeep sells I will be driving a 01 accord for work instead of the Z. I cant do 17mpg and drive 200 miles per day!!

and btw is it just me or does my exhaust sound damn sexy?!?!

17mpg?!

I drive 100 miles every weekday in my Z, and I get 27-28mpg, and that's with about 70% highway driving and 30% city.

no no no. My Jeep gets 17mpg thats why I am driving the Z and parking the jeep. Once the jeep is gone I am buying a relatives 01 accord and using that for work.

I get 31-32 highway on cruise and average 27=28 just like you.
