Hey guys, I installed test pipes on my 07 350z and of course taking the 02 sensors out of the old cats completely stripped the threads because they were basically binded in. My question is, are the 02 sensors different for the HR motors or can I use any set from 04 up? Nissan wants 186.00 for one 02 sensor and I dont want to drop close to 400 bones when my whole exhaust set me back nearly 1600. thanks. I found them online for cheap but dont know if I can use a different year.

 

well they seem to have different part #'s, but that doesnt necessarily mean they are different. either way, you can get them for much cheaper than what nissan wants, just google nissan OEM.

BTW, they seem to be the same price between years

 

I don't know how bad they are but you can try to rethread them. If it dosen't work then you'll just have to buy new one. If it works you got away cheap.

 

I believe Bosch makes O2 sensors that are cheaper than the dealers. Give it a search.

 

yeah i know bosch makes a sensor, i think its the lsu-04 or something like that, i wasnt sure it fit though
