I put my headphones on and I can hear the slight hissing sound coming from your car too.
After your revs fall I can hear the small hiss.

Its your choice...
I understand you don't like the raspy noise, but you have to make a choice. Cats are nice if the only thing your going to do is bolt ons and you don't want a check engine light. Test pipes will last you longer there's no doubt about that. I have a personal friend that has turboXS test pipes with a nice FI setup. The pipes are going on 2 years and still strong. What i am trying to say is when the time comes and ready to make real power. You will have to get test pipes and there is no point in going backwards...

I have Crawford High Flow Cats on the car now, this is my second pair in 1 1/2. The first set, one of the cats cracked, bought a second pair, and I'm guessing the sound might be from the cats again.
If I have to replace the cats again, I'm done with the crawford setup. Can anyone tell me what cat or test pipe is a good product that will last and create HP. I'm not a big fan of the raspy noise the test pipes make, but if it will last more than a year then maybe i will consider it.
Thanks
