Default G37 sound

Anyone know of any exhaust or test pipe that has sound similar to the G37? That thing sounds so sweet and I want a similar sound. I would prefer to go with test pipes.

Yes I understand my thread maybe everyone else doesn't. I'm looking for an full exhaust or test pipe that has a similar sound to the G37S. Not sure if any of you have heard the G37 or WOT but it's noticibly louder than the stock Z with a much deeper/meaner tone to it but not overwelming or ricey. I know every aftermarket exhaust and test pipe doesn't produce the same sound. Some rasp, some drone, some are ricey. The G37S has the perfect sound IMO and the sound that I'm looking to achieve so thats why I said "G37 sound". So you guys can stop posting emoticons and pictutes of cats dancing.

Just kidding.
Maybe you can find a decent fabricator to retrofit a G37 exhaust to your car.
After aftermarket options for it would become available, there will be numerous stock G37 exhausts available for hardly any $$...

Do you have a Z or a G? I know that Z will need the exhaust tips to be modified.
Yes, I did hear the G37 exhaust, and yes, it is deeper and louder.

I doubt that test pipes will help you achieve that as G37 is making that sound with cats (oh no, cats again...)

What you are totally disregarding is that the g37 revs to like 1000 rpm higher then the old DE cars...

I have a Z. Retrofitting the G37 exhaust sounds like a great idea. I may just take that route once they all start getting aftermarket exhaust like you said. I'm sure there will be plenty of the OEMs on ebay.

I once got sick of my Injen TD and was able to pick up an OEM Z one in exchange for a case of beer.
Your Z, is it a DE or HR? b/c in DE's case, you may end up wasting a lot of effort into making the exhaust fit, modding the tips, etc, and then you'd still end up with same thing b/c the major difference is at the engine, not at the exhaust...

now you are talking ,,,from what i hear (my opinion) nismo is what are you looking for ,,for me is the nearest you can get to stock tone but lauder and deeper ...again (my opinion),,,,see the clips or try to hear in person it`s better .

I have the DE so it may not be worth it. I may just go with the Nismo like darkness75 suggested. As long as I get a nice deep tone without too much rasp I'll be satisfied.

Don't go with the Nismo. As someone else suggested, the Borla TD sounds like exactly what you want.

You knw my good friend has a 2007 Stock G37 and IMO i thought it was very quiet and reserved unlike the Z.. We really need to get on it to hear the exhaust and to me sounds kinda muffled. In my mind i find the older G35 coupe sounds better
I doubt it but did anything change from 07 to 08 G37
