1/2 spacer, strut bar question
Does anyone know if the cusco strut bar fits over the motordyne 1/2 spacer?
I know the aps, crawford and stillen do.
Anyone?

I'm in lorton.. so i'm assuming that the 5/16" motodyne is the best as for as fitting stock strut bar and hood.
Also Armando how does that Fast Intentions Exhaust sound or is the Nismo better for keeping that sleeper look and sound.. yes im tryin to build a sleeper to help avoid the Po Po..

I only have room with the Stillen FTSB with my '04 DE motor for 5/16", at most 3/8", the second only if I boost the mounts with some thin spacer. Washer-type spacers don't thrill me because the rigidity of the mount depends on the rings being flat on the sheet metal.
The bar is all the way up in the mounts in these pics, no spacer:

I believe the Stillen bar you are referring to is for the G. Armando has a Z so his situation is different.
Armando,
You know, it may be worth a try. There can be a lot of variation in the way the motor sits in the engine compartment.
I don't know how, but Motormouth was able to fit his stock strut bar over the 1/2" spacer... with no strut bar spacers either!

I forgot their Z33 bar is very different, it's that welded stainless steel bar projecting out front so it even clears their supercharger. So many things are similar or interchangeable, but that's not one of them.
I can't see how you'd have any clearance issues with Stillen's Z33 bar regardless of plenum thickness, basically you'd just have to worry about the hood if you are using their FSTB, and there's a lot of headroom there!
