Default RVM Cold air intake

Have any of you guys seen this intake on ebay? here's a link to it
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2425132957

It looks pretty much like the other ones on the market, but it's about half the price of the other ones. Anyone have one of these on their Z?

It should work. It is an EXACT, and I mean EXACT, copy of the AEM, just with a crappier finish and crappier silicone connectors, etc.

Default Funny you should ask!

I just purchase one. I have not installed it yet as it just arrived yesterday. Might get to it tonight. I agree with you, it's a pipe with a filter on the end. How different can they be. It appears to be of very good quality. I don't think you can go wrong for the price.

Good Luck!

Hello all, we would love to give out 1 or 2 of these for free. Our pipes may not shine like AEM or Injen, but everything else is there. If a member would like to start a promo with a free intake or two, we would love to join in and give the intake away, we are very confident in our item, and we are sure you all will be too

CAI's on the z actually have higher air intake temps than the normal stock airbox design if they go into hte wheel well like the nismo r tune CAI does...don't know where the RVM one is located at

What about short-ram intakes? would you say that they intake temperatures are almost the same as CAI's at cruising speed?

If hte short ram is positioned where the stock airbox is, it should hvae a colder air intake temp compared to CAI that go into the wheelwell.

Like so? This is my friend John's car, but I have the exact same intake. Will fit the 350Z too.

Yes that's an engine torque brace. It's not really mounted to the frame. We just mounted it onto this metal bracket for now, but it does reduce engine movement under hard accelleration/shifting. Trying to find a better mounting spot, because I'm afraid after a while the bracket might wear....we'll see though.
