Here's the setup they have, currently Top Secret has it on their R32 skyline that has a VQ35 dropped in it w/ a ITB setup.

I have yet to understand how ITB can be controlled on the VQDE w/OEM ECU…

well the top secret ITB's arent true ITB's. theyre just velocity stacks in a plenum, which is what you would have to use unless you go to a standalone. however, in all honesty its just as good, maybe just a liiiiiiiitle less response

I don’t see how that is possibly worth the cost or effort... a new hood/design would be required - I presume a manufactured plenum was created, if so are there any fitment issues to the intake?

What would the benefits be? I don’t see how (in theory) there would be any benefits.

its just like a true ITB setup benefits-wise. insane high RPM benefits. i would say there arent any intake fitment issues, except it looks like maybe it would be tilted up. if you look it still has the same neck to TB shape. honestly i cant pretend to know too much about the top secret ITBs, i can just tell you what i see and have heard.

im surprised there isnt talk about doing this on the VHR, since throttle is basically just controlled via valve lift and duration and the "butterfly valve" that they have is always open, from what ive heard
