Default Rev-Up engine with which spacer?

I was wondering, on a Rev-Up engine, is the Motordyne 5/16 spacer or PowerLabs 3/8 spacer better? I ask this because on a Rev-up I notice that Motordyne claims you can only see gains when the spacer is used with the MREV2 lower collector. Yet PowerLab claims there spacer alone get 10whp gains? Any experience or knowledge with these product on the REV-UP engine is beyond welcomed. Thank you

hands down, i think motordyne has the best research when it comes to the development of the spacer kits. and yes, the spacer works best with the MREV2 on a rev-up motor. but they also say that if you do one or the other instead, you would benefit more with the MREV2 first.

You will not find too much (if any) of a difference between them, and you will be happy with either choice. While the intake plenum is torn apart it would be wise to do the MREV at the same time.

have the MD spacer and did a b4 and after on a dyno. Gain about 8hp on the peak HP.
Added the Mrev2 and gain about 15-17 hp from 2500-4500 RPMs on a dyno dynamic read out, but I lost some alittle top end HP. Give and take i guess.

I did a pre/post dyno of the 1/2" spacer under well controlled conditions at a local dyno day. Same car, same day, same dyno, same gas, etc, etc...

And short of the typical run to run variation, the plots all laid on top of eachother. It was because of these results that I started researching other ways of making power on the revup engine.

And this is what motivated the first generation of MREV.

Just making sure, but this is on a REV-UP engine right? So you did gain hp down lower in the power band correct? Any torque difference? Thanks
