Default nismo cai noise levels?

hey all,

I was looking at the nismo CAI set up and I noticed one ebay post stated this:

"R-tune components have been engineered for the hard-core enthusiast or weekend racer. Street "civility" is compromised for maximum performance at track days. R-tune components do not carry any type of warrenty, and have been designed and are intended for off-highways applications only."

what about them makes them off-highway only? is this true? the other posts did not contain this information.

are they super loud?.. I've never heard a CAI that generated much noise, granted I have limited expierience in hearing them (accord v6 cai, eclipse gts cai, both from AEM..)

thanks in advance for help w/ these questions.

Lol at "off-highway applications only." I believe that statement was intended to over-exaggerate the power of two tubes with filters on the end.

They are absolutely suitable for daily driving.

The intake makes so much horsepower that only a skilled professional can handle the car.
