The sensors are directional, the bung is also dummy proof for sealing and will only accept the sensor one way and fully seat.

that is so gayy. Send that Chit back and get ur money back. You wont really gain any power form intakes. The stock airboxes work just fine and perform better. Reasearch it some more, theres plenty of people that will tell u the same thing.

BTW i never knew that the HR plenums looked like plastic... looks weird without the cover piece.

hmm, couldn;t you just "flip" the sensor in a way that it works? here me out. the sensor has to bolt up one way correct? could you not turn just the sensor part to where it will bolt up, but read correctly? i was thinking that because when you look at the pics of ths intake, the right pipe installed looks exactly like yours does (the screw in points are the same)

so that got me thinking it may just be your MAF sensor itself being backwards.

I dont think so, thats what i thought at first but if you look inside the tube theres actual smaller tubes welded on the inside that are suppose to direct air to the MAF sensor... i think.

i just went out and experiemented with mine. i do not have a HR engine but the MAF is pretty much the same. it is possible to bolt the MAF sensor in backwards. when you flip it around the screw holes line up and the only way to tell if it is in right is to look at the bottom of yoru sensor before you put it in. there should be a small square opening at the bottom that needs to be facing towards the front of the car.
