Default help CEL after AAM HFC installed

after putting on my AAM hfc on my 06 350z with HKS ti exhaust yesterday.
i just got a CEL today .....any ideas on how to fix it??..where to look first..before taking it to my shop??.....
ive searched...and never heard of HFC throwing off CEL on 06 Z's

damn!this is the reason why i avoided TP's......
any other reasons why my cars throwing up a CEL besides the non foulers?

I would suggest getting the code pulled. Could be coincedence that some other issue came up or perhaps an o2 sensor was damaged during the install.

Agree. Before you start messing with non-foulers, reset the ECU. Give the ECU some time to adjust.

new exhaust/cats have a internal coating that needs to "burn" off smells like ****, just reset and i think you should be ok

It could be the sensors noticing catalytic inefficency or it could be a leak causing the CEL.

Find out what the actual code is.

you can reset it as much as you want but if the out of spec condition is still present then the ecu will just cycle the code back out. get the code pulled so you know what to look for.

You could check it yourself, or most any auto parts store should have an OBD-II scanner.

Autozone and Advance auto parts will check the code for you.

You need no-foulers. I almost guarantee it.
