Default Xpipe=no rasp?

i have searched and found that with a true dual exhaust with a bunch of rasp a xpipe or hpipe will take care of the rasp so im just making sure it will take care of it before i call up summit racing. any one with experince on this please let me know.

X-pipes TEND to get rid of rasp but I think there were other variables. There are a few people running Injens with x-pipes who got rid of rasp, Fast Intentions have little to no rasp, and there are a few Borla guys who switched to an x-pipe and found no increase in rasp

No. X or H does not automatically eliminate rasp.

As others have said, there is much more to it.

I have the Borla true dual exhaust with kinetix resonated test pipes. Before the X pipe i had a lot of rasp, especially between 2-4k. I've heard the rasp on the hks, it wasn't that much, but definitely noticeable. After the x-pipe i have ZERO rasp, with my set up it did get rid of the rasp all through out the rpm range. It sounds deeper and cleaner. The one i used was this

http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...e=main&id=7646

It's the magnaflow 11385, if the hks is 2.25" piping it should work, they also have one with 2.5" in/outlets. Ebay had the best prices so check there, i got mine for $80 shipped.

^In your case, it's two fold.

"X" with a good size resonator to boot.

I'll put more of your rasp reduction due to the large resonator.

OP, if you have any doubts/questions about exhaust research read the thread about Motordyne's exhaust (HYDRAZINE has done A LOT of research, A LOT...based on their thread, its quite impressive.)

seriously, they did at least as much if not more dynotesting w/ different setups than anyone AFAIK.
