Default ceramic coating???

I just bought a set of ceramic coated DC headers and was wondering how good the coating was on them. Does it keep the temps down under the hood as compared to getting the regular stainless steel headers? I also thought i read somewhere that the ceramic coated headers are not good to spray nitrous with because the exhaust temps are too high for them??? is this true??

I bought a set of ceramic coated DC headers a while back and had them sitting around for about a year. when I looked at them after that year the coating looked like sh*t ....discolored and very thin looking in some places. Sent them to Jet-Hot for their 2000 deg. coating. Came back very nice. Coating was way thicker and even throughout. Can't say if you'll get much heat reduction because you'll lose the exhaust manifold heat shields , or at least I did (2004 model) .
