Thumbs up Review: Jet-Hot Coating

Very impressive

I just got my headers back from Jet-hot coating. I bought my header from a member here, it was used. When i received them, honestly i wasn't happy with their condition. So i talked to Dave@jet hot coating, he told me about sterling coating, the price wasn't high and best used for street.

Looks good. How much did that run you for both headers? I have a feeling that it will look the same as the top header thouhg after some time and use.

jet-hot will last for years without changing appearance, provided you dont cook oil or other junk on it.there are cheaper alternatives that work similiar, but there is no denying that jet-hot kicks ***.

Any engine bay temp sensors to compare before coating and after? I thot one of the main reasons to run "jet hot" was to keep the outside of the header cooler, and thus the engine bay temps down a bit. They do look good tho.

Before/after and compare to others, you can check out from their website or vid that i posted.

Coating is inside and outside, it helps outside of temp and air flow temp also.

Thanks for sharing. I had gotten a quote for them and it was over $400 bucks. All I wanted done was a set of headers of the z.
So thanks for the Name. I may be hitting him up.

SO if you do the Jet-Hot w/ headers...do you still have to wrap you lines so the fluids don't get cooked?

I thinking about doing the extreme sterling, since it gives the most temp reduction...how long did they keep your headers for?
