Lightbulb I m o...

Pop Charger: Less expensive, sounds good, looks less appealing (compared to the NISMO).

NISMO: More expensive, sounds good, looks better.

It's your call. I have the NISMO but obviously, a lot of people run the Pop Charger. From my personal experience, the NISMO CAI is a good product. You won't run 12's with either but it's a nice little addition to get your feet wet.

If this is your choice, consider where you will be long term. If you're a NISMO ***** (as I am), the decision makes itself...

Good luck.

+1. good sh*t. im glad im not the only nismo aficionado, everyone seems to be in love with the pop charger...

the design of the two intakes is almost identical in the 07-08. its just an issue of name i suppose...

go with nismo, you won't look back.

If one doesn't have an appreciable performance advantage over the other, then maybe another consideration would be ease of installation and maintenance. The Popcharger will be easier to install and the filter is easier to get to than on a Cold Air Intake. This is probably only an important consideration for someone who plans to periodically remove and clean the air filter.

f*ck that pop charger sh*t, go nismo!

these are all just opinions, the intakes offered for the HR are all short ram style and offer similar gains... the only difference is material and workmanship involved. i trust nismo hands down for any part on my car, i mean its nissan motorsports... its what they do. the pop charger has had heat bog issues but that is in the DE engine from what i have heard... just research the topic yourself and come to a conclusion. people on this forum can go back and forth all day about what is "best".

but seriously, nismo is the best!

LOL, some great info from an uneducated opinion.
Both are great, high quality products, pick the one you like the most.

how is my opinion uneducated? i stated the same exact you thing earlier in the discussion. don't be arrogant . the OP is clearly looking for opinions due to the fact that he is unable to decide. he is fully aware that they both have solid fan bases and he just needs someone to tell him what to get.

Still considering the Nismo CAI? Where are you located? I have a used Nismo CAI off of my '04 Z roadster if you are interested. Never any problems with it.

why waist the extra money on a nismo when the jwt popcharger is just as good? If it is the quality of the product that your worried about, think of it this way, jwt only makes products specifically for nissan and infiniti and most people on here will agree that the popcharger is very reliable.
