Amuse Ti intake pipe install and more...
All I could say is the install is not a one person job. I just received my Amuse Ti intake pipe yesterday after a long 5 months wait. Would've received it last month, but due to Amuse's delay(currently focusing on GTR parts), it didn't arrive till yesterday. I started the install around 6:30pm, and didn't finish until 10:00pm last night. The quality of the Amuse intake pipe is top notch, as well as the ARC oil catch can. Believe it or not, I actually ditched ARC intake box for the 06 OEM box with HKS drop in filter. My first impression was extremely satisfying. Definitely ran a whole lot smoother than the ARC box. IMO, The Amuse Ti pipe, HKS drop in filter with 06 intake box, and ARC oil catch can definitely complimented my engine compartment, and definitely felt much better throtle response with the 06 box. I will post some pics later on this week. Amuse, ARC, and 06 OEM intake box have my vote for quality and finish.....

the pipe is just a pipe. I doubt the amuse one is much different from the ARC one. the change you are feeling is the ditching of the ARC box and the addition of the HKS drop in filter.

Just came back from my first test drive I´am not quite sure if it´s just the feeling "I put another expensive part on my car" or if the Z really spools up a little bit better.????
I always had the feeling that there was a lag between 3k-4k.....now it seems like it´s gone!??? after the 1st test drive I opened the hood to take a look on how "hot" the Amuse pipe really is....and damn it´s colder than the strut bar ....not sure how much °C the pipe had but I would say about 35°C , but I´ll measure it the next time with my laser thermometers
I personally think that the "straight" design of the pipe is also a good advantage over the stock one with the "bellow" right after the MAF(could cause less turbulence?????).

MAKE UP YOUR MIND! DOES IT WORK OR DOES IT NOT?
