I advise you do more research on this exhaust before purchasing it.

Seems very susceptible to rust and many members who bought them.... regretted it.

I read about others having great success spraying the exhaust with VHT clear cloat before installing it to prevent rust. Thats what I plan on doing.

Anytime you have to do something to a stainless steel exhaust to prevent rust, its a piece of garbage.

Strange, I thought that meant the exhaust contained iron/iron alloys....

so WTX...you have this exhaust? have you personally had problems with it?

anyone else. I like the deeper sound that it makes. This is the first one I have came across that is a good price that makes the deeper noise. if you know any other for like 600.00 let me know.

Yes I have it. I live in the desert...but it has been raining a lot this week...no rust thus far...still as shiny as the day I bought it...a little more golden though...have only had it 2 wks. Its too loud for my taste w/ HFC's...so I'm adding a magnaflow x pipe/muffler. (its on order)

there have been no documented cases of the CX Lighting exhaust rusting...and no one really knows if its the XO2 rebranded...the seller states its not....whatever that's worth
I say for the money it cannot be beat...

I have had mine on for about 11 months now and no rust at all, this of course is not what the "brand ******" want to hear. It's your car buy what you like, I was only intending to use the exhaust short term till i go with the twins. Either way well worth the price paid. Here's mine post #57
https://my350z.com/forum/exterior-in...request-2.html

Be prepared for the hating from the vendors & the "brand ******"!!!!

I can partially agree. I'll say that SOME have had issues w/ rust on XO2...but NONE have documented problems w/ CXlighting ebay exhaust....I'm curious to see what the owners who live in those areas prone to rusting items will have to say in a few months (even though it didn't take months for the XO2 to start showing its faults in the instances where it had issues.)

Most is an overstatement. People who have issues ***** and moan a lot...those that don't keep fairly quiet. and those who have issues look for places to complain/warn others....so the instance of rusting may be much lower than it appears based on threads...

I'm glad your not an HKS fanboy. we can be friends hahaha
There are too many of them on here who are willing to trash all HKS clones....so I've decided to nip it as fast as I can.

yeah i figured thats what you were going for lol.

i just think If you buy a good stainless steel exhaust you bolt it on. You dont clear it powder coat or anything else to prevent rust. If its a good manufacture and it starts rusting you just send it back and get a new one.
