Default tanabe exhaust + fast intension resonated test pipes

well today i just got my exhaust on . I went to a local car meet and you no, just had some fun. Well later that night, when i was coming home from the hospital(seeing my son and he is a premie), i got a service engine soon light. I no there been issues with the 07z`s getting a error code from the o2 sensor and was wondering what part i need to get to fix this? I think it was something to make it farther way, like adaptor bolt that makes it longer. Correct me if im wrong .

O, also when i would turn my car off i would see alot of smoke come out of the exhaust tip area and was wondering if that was just the tanabe mufflers, just breaking in? I think im right on that but just want your opion on it.

Any help from you guys would be very much apperciated.

If it's brand new new your stil lbreaking it in. My car smelled like burnt plastic for like a day then it went away. The best was how much deeper the exhaust note would get as time would pass...

I do not think they have come up with a fix for the CEL light from the O2 sensors. I believe most just stuff brillo padding into their O2 sensor holes and reset the ecu every couple thousand miles. That will temporarily release the CEL but it will come back on again after a few thousand miles.

Post some soundclips!

O, also the smoke is ok then? Well im taking it to my mechanic today and he is going to get it checked out and maybe he got a trick up his sleeve. Yes, i will be making a video ,but ill have to find a area were i can fully rev. it up. The reason is because i don't think my neighbors would like the loud sound and may call the police because some of them are a...holes. O, when i was ordering my test pipes from fast intensions they said if i wanted a non foulers. Does anyone no what that is?

You can get the CEL to turn off, you just need to do the Non-Fouler trick.

The non-fouler trick does not work on the 07+ year models. They will release the CEL temporarily but it will eventually come back again.

non fouler plugs. cost about $8.00 per pair, not $80.00 from Advance Auto. I think the part # is 42009, 18 mm. But check to be sure. From my research (I'm putting Stillen TP's on in the morning), 2003's do not have an issue with fouling b/c of narrow band 02 sensor vs. wind band for 04-06. I have not seen a thread where a fix for the 07 has been articulated and I've not seen a thread regarding the 08-10, at all. I stopped searching when I found info for the 03.
