yes...i know its been beaten to a pulp...but i have a ?. im thinking it might be my cats but im really not sure. basically after the car warms up it loses alot of power. also seems unusually warm through that section of the car. im almost thinking that the cats are just old and f***ed up. (i have 118k on the car). but after it warms up i get - bad mpg, lagged throttle response, no power, ect. im also smelling what smells like burning cats (eggy smell) any ideas? i dont mind gutting my cats as we dont have to get inspected here. just something temp till i get some good tp's as im a little strapped now but i want my car to feel/run better.

edit - and i did search. read every post but nothing like mine

Just get test pipes like everyone will tell you. But if you really want to gut your cats, make sure to save the material you take out. Scrape yards love that stuff.

lol...ok...fine. from what everyone is saying forget it. im getting tp's. im no noob when it comes to my car but i am completely stumped on what is going on with it now. no cel's either. (wish there was cuz then i could work off it) does it sound like my cats are just bad? someone say something to make me feel better lol.
