why is there always an a$$!! i am sure someone would entertain the idea, think through the logistics, and give you an honest answer of the chance it could even be done. I have no clue what the GTR exhaust even looks like, so that person will not be me...

Cost to much. I couldnt imagine how much a stock exhaust would cost?? 2k??? from dealer lol. You can get half an ARC for that.

Crap like that very well may be the GTR's downfall. 21k for a factory exhaust? The car is 80 grand. Nissan...Are you trying to tell me that the exhaust accounts for 1/4 of the cost of the GTR?

I've always loved the GTR's, but the more I hear about crap like this, I'd rather get a Vette.

What if we could get the engine off a wrecked GTR, and put that into the Z..Anyone think it would be worth it? Maybe if one "fell off the truck"?

Not really since you could for dirt cheap get a LS1 with a tranny for like 7k or for a little more a LS2 with a tranny. Also wasn't there a thread where someone wanted to install the exhaust and suspension from the GT-R also?
