Well, I do kinda like how insane it sounds at WOT. Kinda no frills, ***** to the wall, all out type of sound. But daily driving it can be a beating. The volume of it, and around 2500 there is a resonance/rasp that just kills me. Think of a circular saw going through a 2x4. I am used to loud cars, don't get me wrong. I had a 96 Mustang GT with headers, 10.7:1 compression, ported heads, no cats and Magnaflow, that thing was LOUD. Then I had a Cobra with practically the same treatment, also LOUD. I miss a civilized volume at WOT. I'm drawing out a custom single exhaust that will bolt to the end of the Turbo XS, so all I have to do is figure out which cannister I like the best.

BTW, Jake, here's a vid with the stock cats:

I have a similar setup and I can attest to this being ***** to the wall loud . Mine sounds a little more high pitched than yours at high rpm though.

68Stang, did your exhuast note change at all?

Mine on my 07 seemed to get deeper as I put some miles on it. Horrible drone at 2k rpms.

No drone. I think the sound stayed pretty consistent, but after a while I also added headers, which smoothed out the note.

I think it sounds pretty sick, love the raspy sound. Some sick M3's that I have heard with the same sound. Very nice.
