Default Harakiri and Modular Exhaust Testing

BlueZee,

Since you were the first to purchase the Harakiri dual with the pre/post dyno option, I'll give you first dibs.

----

Many production exhaust modules have been dedicated for testing and sound clips to those with the Motordyne Dual exhaust. You can have these parts if you can sound clips all the variations.

You currently have:
1) The XYZ merge collector
2) The XYZ resonator
3) The MD dual midpipe
4) Harakiri axle back muffler left
5) Harakiri axle back muffler right

All of the above makes one full exhaust system of one particular sound.

Now if you had a few extra modules available the number of possible combination grows very rapidly. Each additional part multiplies the number of combination's for every other part.

With these 4 parts added to your exhaust system menu:
1) XYZ straight pipe
2) Resonated single midpipe
3) Non resonated single midpipe
4) ShockWave))) dual axleback

The 4 extra modules makes 14 possible configurations for different looks and sounds. (28 if you factor in stock cats Vs your current test pipes.)

Can you sound clip these with your test pipes? Stock cats are optional.

The dynos and sound clips will be archived into one reference thread (The Harakiri Experiment) for public review. Many, if not all will be posted on the Motordyne website too.

Please don't commit if you don't have the time or resources to do it. Even for free exhaust parts it won't be an easy task.

If you choose, a true dual X midpipe will soon follow... and the number of sounds will go
Exponential!

Thank you!
Tony

PS - I'll be working on this same project locally and with others around the country. It will be a big project to create a library of dynos and sounds.

Right on.

For the best results on your mufflers, remove the wrapping off the Titanium after its installed. It will help to keep oil, dirt and scratches off them.

BTW - Your kitten seems pretty interested in the box too LOL.
