Default Exhausts, help me decide *Poll*

Hello,

I currently have a Tanabe Hyper Medallion Exhaust on right now and i'm now debating my other options. I'm open to other suggestions but as of now:

-Custom 2.5" True Dual
-Stay with the Tanabe and get hfc+y pipes
-Custom 2.5" Single Exhaust with HKS muffler

I only plan on staying naturally aspirated, for the time being anyway. So performance mods would just be intakes, exhaust, intake plenum spacer, hfc + tune.

What am I looking for? To make the most power out of my money. Again, i'm open to suggestions and have searched and searched. It seems like singles make the most power. I don't auto x nor drag. I just enjoy having a spiffy daily driver

EDIT:

Exhaust drone and rasp ftmfl....

you already have an exhaust on it now. . .it doesn't drone (unless you took the mid muff off). . .why spend money on something you already have?

get a spacer, a tune and work on your footworks. . .

If option A gave you 2 more horsepower than option B, then you would go with option A regardless if it sounds like garbage??

You do realize that you won't notice any increase in power between any of those systems right?? So you are basically deliberating for no reason.

You are one dumb ****.

Thanks. I didn't specify too much but I am looking to change the exhaust note as well. I'm getting rid of the Tanabe because i'm not fond of the sound so I figured if I was going to look into another exhaust i'd also look for other added benefits.

Yes, I may be a dumb **** when it comes to these kind of things but I come on the forum to try to educate myself. Not everyone is as mechanically inclined. What's common sense to you may not be common sense to others, or in this case me. Thanks anyway though.

Well at least you have a good attitude.

Don't take my comments too seriously. Just your logic was kind of ridiculous. Gains from exhaust systems are negligible. They all make just about the same amount of power, and the difference between them is marginal at best.

Listen to exhausts on youtube. Or if you want more clarity, go to local Z meets and get first-hand exhaust notes. Decide which one gives the best sound and best appearance to you. Then make a decision.

Have you considered getting the Jic? Maybe used if you cannot afford it. I went that route and couldn't be happier.

since the real issue is sound....you'll need to narrow your choices to a few...and then try to find ppl who have that exhaust w/ the cats you'll be running...and listen. best is in person as audio clips don't really give you any idea of what it'll sound like in person.

oh, forgot to add my opinion - 2.5 TD w/ xpipe and HFC's.

why? because symmetry is beauty...and beauty is symmetry. Singles look out of place on the rear of a Z...or any non supra.

Some HFC or TP will change the sound of the exhaust, and bang for the buck you would get the most out of them performance wise!!!
