Here is a question or more of a request. Does anybody have these exhausts?, if so what do they look like when installed? Not from the bottom but from the view that everybody will see. From back standing and from back squatting down. Does anybody have the Greddy system?, and what does it look like installed.

I am waiting to see the results from the sports Z magazine's exhaust system shoot out before I buy anything, if I buy anything.
I don't track my car so I really don't care about another 5 -10 hp for $600 - $1200. I am not into buying bolt ons to impress my friends who are into the "cool factor". I ask myself, whats the point of spending that money on the Z that is already healthy enough and reliable. Are you really going to notice 5 hp? I would rather spend the money on Baja fishing trips, surfing in Hawaii, or exploring Costa Rica.
Personally I think that putting a K&N filter in the stock air box is as good as, or better than any after market CAI. If you like the cool sound an aftermarket CAI or exhaust makes, then go fo it, but don't expect any real HP gains.

I don't think the GReddy system is out yet, actually.
I agree though about the inake and exhausts - the stock manufacturers are making bette and better std equipment these days, and there are many more aftemarket parts on the market as well- some are good, some are not.
Evena a dyno test is not going to really reveal anything, as they typically do one or 2 pulls, in a totally static environment, totally absent of airflow, and on rollers that often have a difficult time calculating actual load (depends on the dyno, and what settings are inputted - these inputs alone can totally skew dyno results in whatever diretion you want). At least witht he exhaust side though, you will ge a general idea of what is working and what is not, assuming the test was done on the same dame on the same car, on the same dyno.
Having been in the aftermarket for along time, I would not expect more than a 10-12 HP gain over stock from teh ehxuat, and maybe 3-5 hp from the intake.
I think what you will on the exhaust side is the Z pipe and straight pipes or high flow cats, have a far great effect than the rear section in terms of HP and torque output.
Would be interesting to see a test with the stock rear box and a couple different Y pipes.
