Default Videos of my Exhaust Set-Up (Borla TD, U.R. HFCs, Magnaflow X-Pipe)

As promised. Here are four different videos of my exhaust setup. There is no hissing or rasp to speak of - the only rasp you may hear is not from my car, but from my camera's mic.

All four of the videos have a HIGH QUALITY option. Click on it for better picture and better sound. The mods are in my sig. below. I can honestly say that the Magnaflow has really made everything come together. It is, without question, the best mod I've done to this car. It completes the entire exhaust component, the gains felt are absolutely beyond what I thought I'd get - a true surprise.

This video is to show how the car sounds when taking off:

This is my favorite, from a distance:

It's definitely not quieter than stock. When you're driving normally, the sound is contained, though still very much easy to here (and a bit more audible than stock). But when you lay on it, there is no comparison - my exhaust note is much, much louder at WOT than a stock Z. But quiet and powerful was essentially what I wanted out an exhaust and I got it.

I have a few vids from inside the car, but I didn't know if I should upload them or not, because I don't focus on anything in the car - so it's purely for audio only.

the sound is a big deal to a lot of people. what are you using to record the clips? I don't think its capturing the sound very well.

I would like to hear the interior one. :]

Love the way that exhaust sounds

+1 on some clips from inside and up close while revving too.

I'm looking into modding my exhaust and interested in something similar to this.

A Canon SD1000 PowerShot. I'll work on the interior clips and convert them to sound clips.

I have the same set up with resonated test pipes instead of hfc's and i love it. A must do mod for anyone with the borla or injen TD. It feels better, and sounds much cleaner. A member has also dyno'd his car before and after and picked up a few lbs of torque w/ no loss in hp. Glad you like it

I'm interested in seeing the pics of the modifications. Did the Magnaflow duals line up well with the Borla? You weld them in or slip joint them in?
