meagan test pipes r crap

Default meagan test pipes r crap

i have had my megan test pipes on for less than 200 miles and they cracked today. i should have listened. i got what i paid for. i am taking them off and putting a real exhaust system on. dont want to spend alought but want something that sounds good. any ideas??????

I personally wouldn't touch anything made by meagan...

Kinetix res TP's are great. Lifetime warranty. $400.

not wanting to spend a lot is the issue. I wouldn't buy anything from meagan either.

I have the Megan down pipes with the flex joint and they have worked great for 6K miles now.

About 15k on mine. They seem to be the ones to have. Even the other pricy brands seem to have cracking issues. Search and see.

these can't be the version 2 megan test pipes..

the megan version 2 with flex sections is nicely made, my cousin has them on his G and for the money they are a great product..

I went with Ichiba resonated test pipes for this reason although I did buy the Megan y pipe. To be honest..... I was impressed by the quality. Test pipes are a high stress part I wasn't willing to go cheap.

I have the first version megan test pipes without the flex joints. Ive had them now for about 14k and running strong. I guess I just lucked out with them.
