Angry Plenum spacer and Strut bar?

I HOPE SOME ONE HAS RUN INTO THIS PROBLEM OR KNOW SOMEONE THAT HAS AND CAN HELP ME OUT, I GOT AN 05 350Z I RECENTLY INSTALLED A SKUNK2 PLENUM SPACER AND DISCOVERED THAT BEACAUSE IT RAISES THE HEIGHT OF THE PLENUM MY OEM STRUT BAR WONT FIT. IS THEIR A STRUT BAR OUT THERE THAT WILL CLEAR THE OEM HOOD OR IS THEIR A AFTERMARKET HOOD THAT IS A LITTLE RAISED AND WILL CLEAR THE STRUT BAR? SOME ONE HELP!!

well depending on the size of your spacer (assuming its smaller than 1/2 in), you can throw a couple washers under the strut bar.

Stock wont fit, APS or Crawford only as far as I know will.

i was wondering if the 07 hood would work with 1/2 inch. Anyone try this yet?

My friend just put a 07 hood on his 05, he has a Crawford plenum on it. I will look at it and see how much more clearance it has. By the time you bought a hood and spacer, you could have just bought a Cosworth.

its for these reasons i got the powerlab spacer.....a few washers under the strut bar and i was good..

I plan on getting a asuka type 2 hood and a polished cosworth too at some point. So in the long run i will only be out the spacer. They have a decent resale value so I wont be out to much.
