I have a 2004 so does that mean I do not need the CEL fix? I think I will do the CEL fix just to be safe.

i just installed my test pipes 2 days ago and the light came on the next day...however before it came on i did gun my car a few times ...so i reseted my ecu (peddle style) and it went away. hopefully it doesnt come back on. i was thinking that some of the fumes might have seeped through the non foulers just enough to be detected by the O2 sensor. btw i have a 2004.5

^+1, sometimes when i drive my Z hard the CEL will pop up???? It happened 2x already. Installed TP 2months ago, randomly pops up when car is pushed hard. Disconnect battery and light is gone. Couple weeks later i drive it hard and there it is lol. It rarely happens but its annoying to see the light. I have an 03 btw

SES = Service Engine Soon
CEL = little pic of engine illuminated

They really mean the same thing?

Anyways, I just installed a set of Ichiba resonated TPs yesterday and about an hour later received the SES light. I have a 2005.

I'll try the non-foulers and post the results.

freedonutss you said that I can make my own? Do you have a DIY?

Anyone who buys test pipes will have to buy 2 pair of non foulers, 1 pair will not work. Thats what i did and SES light is gone. That was a few thousand miles ago. I tried just 1 pair and the SES light came on after about 50-60 miles of driving.
