SES is the same thing as a CEL. Go tohttps://my350z.com/forum/intake-exhaust-334/ for some "expert" advice on getting rid of that light and other questions.

two words "non-foulers" problem solved, and whoever said the CEL light will go away after a few days is wrong, the car doesn't "get used" to the pipes.

Most 03s do not have an issue with the CEL from test pipes. Its the 04.5 and up that have issues. If you buy a set of non foulers youll be set. You can make your own or you can buy them premade for $20 shipped. Just search around the forums and there are people who sell them. Good luck.

The light is on because basically the computer thinks something is wrong with the Cats. The code doesnt affect the way the car runs whatsoever.

The light just indicates some OBDII code. It may put the 350Z in "limp mode." May not.

I"ve been driving with that light on for about 6 months. It doesnt go away, and it doesnt retard timing, atleast not according to the timeslips.

I put non-foulers on as well after a few weeks to try and get rid of the light. Didnt work, so I may have actually damaged a O2 sensor in the process of installation.

but yeah, its just a light, minor annoyance at the worst, atleast there isnt an audible warning

ive been driving with mine on for over a year. It doesnt hurt anything just get it checked ever so often so you know thats the only code you are throwing. I tried non foulers and no luck here either.
